In May, organic silicon market consolidated at high level and the price stabilized before falling.

BAIINFO-Monthly Analysis on China GPC Market in May 2026

BAIINFO-China, Domestic GPC market trading performance was ordinary in May. Major refineries’ low-sulfur GPC prices were stable-and-weak while mid and high-sulfur GPC prices mostly slid down. Independent refineries’ GPC prices diverged by shipment situations. Imported GPC transactions were made mainly on small orders. Compared to the end of Apr., Sinopec refineries’ GPC prices partially descended by RMB 40-200/T.

BAIINFO-China, Domestic CPC transactions were subdued in May. Low-sulfur CPC prices partially rose by RMB 100/T while mid and high-sulfur CPC prices mostly descended by RMB 100-250/T.
