BAIINFO-China, Domestic GPC market prices grew slowly. Major refineries’ GPC prices ramped up with individual downticks. Independent refineries’ GPC prices moved upward in early Aug. then gradually slid down in mid-to-late of Aug. Imported sponge coke shipments were good while shot coke shipments were at a low price. Compared to the end of Jul., Sinopec refineries’ GPC prices mostly ascended with individual declines by RMB 30-290/T.
