BAIINFO-China, Domestic GPC transactions were subdued in May. Major refineries’ GPC prices slid down due to less active buying interest and ample supply. Independent refineries’ GPC prices picked up partially owing to smooth shipments then ran soft caused by major refineries’ prices. Compared to the end of Apr., Sinopec refineries’ GPC prices mostly descended with individual upticks by RMB 40-1,130/T. CNPC/PetroChina refineries lowered GPC prices by RMB 310-1,000/T.
