BAIINFO-China, Domestic GPC transactions became a bit active in Jul. Major refineries’ GPC prices mostly went up. Independent refineries’ mid and low-sulfur GPC prices ramped up while high-sulfur GPC prices slid down partially. Imported low-sulfur sponge coke shipments were smooth and deals of mid and high-sulfur GPC were made mainly on small orders. Compared to the end of Jun., Sinopec refineries’ GPC prices mostly climbed with individual declines by RMB 20-450/T.
