BAIINFO-China, Domestic GPC market emerged a “ʌ” trend in H1 2024. With refineries overhauling units successively, domestic GPC outputs declined. However, imported resources were abundant. Hence, total GPC supply remained ample. Downstream industries ran tepid overall and GPC demand was hard to kick obviously. As a result, average GPC price was significantly lower than that in H1 2023.
