BAIINFO-China, Domestic GPC market showed an “N” trend in 2024. On the one hand, total GPC supply declined, especially for imported low-vanadium resources. On the other hand, demand from carbon and anode material plants was acceptable for most of the year. Hence, GPC market prices ran buoyant in Q1 and Q4. Buying interest in fuel-grade GPC was largely tepid for all the time. Coupled with bearish downstream industries, GPC market prices saw downward movements in Q2-Q3.
